Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join a global leader within the healthcare sector as a Field Service Engineer to cover the M4 corridor – Bristol to London.
Products include medical instrumentation used in hospital pathology laboratories, such as: tissue testing instrumentation to assist with cancer diagnosis, molecular instrumentation and urine analysis instrumentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Engineer with a formal qualification (minimum Level 3 such as BTEC, City and Guilds or equivalent, HNC or higher) and experience from within the scientific or medical industry OR ex-forces engineers OR with high-tech electro-mechanical servicing experience and looking to move into this sector.

Role Requirements
Follow troubleshooting procedures to identify faults quickly and accurately to ensure a first time fix rate
Ensure that all Preventative Maintenance visits are completed to the standards of the required protocol.
Help to maintain all spares holding with correct labelling ensuring non-stock and stock items are separated.
Keep aware of product changes and wider company information (e.g. product bulletins and service update information)
Ensure that visits are followed up with the correct paperwork, completing service reports within 3 days of the service visit.
Person Specifications
Relevant qualifications (at least at Level 3, HNC preferred but not essential).
Servicing and Repair experience (workshop, site or field-based) within a high-tech field, ideally within medical instrumentation but not essential as full training is provided.
Excellent communication skills, with a customer focused mindset
