Role Overview

You will join a small service team who are responsible for all instruments and installations, including laboratory network solutions. You will be predominantly based in the North of England, ideally along the M62 corridor.

Company Information

Zenopa are representing a leading IVD business create and market test systems that aid in disease diagnosis, together with software and automated solutions for the execution and assessment of these tests.

Role Requirements

On-site instrument maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
Instrument installation and decommissioning
Installation & support of laboratory IT/network solutions (LIMS/middleware)
Train customers and colleagues in the use of our instruments and software
Monitor own spare parts inventory and ensure appropriate stock is maintained

Person Specifications

An Electronic or Mechanical Engineering qualification, BTEC, HNC etc
At least two years’ experience working with instrumentation, ideally in a laboratory environment
Experience with IT information systems, preferably in a hospital environment.
A keen interest in medical diagnostics and associated products, with a desire to develop a career in this field.
An independent thinker, you will thrive within a small company environment, be flexible and dynamic within this growing company

Package

Salary: In the range between £35,000 – £48,000 DOE
24 days annual leave increasing by one day for every calendar year worked
