Field Service Engineer
Company Information
Our client presents expertise in the fields of freeze-drying products & technologies, R&D consultancy, analysis, process development, training courses, solvent removal, high pressure homogenisation, powder fillers and preparative chromatography products.
They have an experienced service department and strong links with our suppliers that enable them to support their customers throughout the life of their equipment, and their on-site freeze-drying laboratory offers a range of services in product and process development.
Role Requirements
– Delivering the full range of installation, site acceptance test, qualification, calibration, service and breakdown/troubleshooting services on the customer’s site.
– Dealing with “return to base” breakdown and warranty issues at the Winchester
head office.
– Dealing with on-site customer related documentation, (permit to work, method statements, attendance records, site reports).
– Compiling off site customer documentation (service reports, calibration reports etc) for timely dispatch to the customer.
– Working with the Engineering Director to maintain maximum scheduling efficiency.
– Dealing with customers, estates staff, internal and external facility managers and equipment users at all times presenting an efficient, knowledgeable and customer friendly company profile.
– Maintaining the company car provided in a manner compliant with company procedures.
– Maintaining and delivering to company admin staff, expenses, mileage records, timesheets etc as required.
– Identifying possible sales or upselling opportunities to company sales staff.
Person Specifications
The successful candidate;
– Will have refrigeration experience at pharmaceutical temperatures (-70 degrees or lower) derived from industrial refrigeration experience.
– Preferably will have a “F Gas” Regulation certification.
– Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the role and working profile of a Field Service Engineer.
– Should have experience of at least two of the required skill sets of:
– Mechanical engineering
– Electrical engineering and fault finding
– Will have a full Irish Driving license and be willing to travel across the whole country.

– A competitive starting salary in the region of EUR40,000- EUR60,000
