Role Requirements
· As a Service Engineer, your mission is to deliver top-notch service excellence across hospital and laboratory sites in your region.
· You’ll be the go-to expert for on-site corrective and preventative maintenance, offering unwavering technical and commercial support across our range of systems.
· Always maintain a polished, professional image, whether you’re communicating by phone, email, or in person.
· Forge and nurture strong customer relationships, consistently demonstrating punctuality, helpfulness, and courtesy.
· Keep your Service Manager in the loop with timely progress updates and reports.
· Ensure prompt completion and submission of essential documentation, including risk assessments, work reports, activity reports, site tasks, and more.
· Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and capitalize on potential leads.
· Don’t hesitate to dive into commissioning work on standard equipment when the need arises.
Person Specifications
· Ideally, you bring prior experience as a Service Engineer, preferably within the water treatment sector. However, we’ve successfully welcomed professionals from diverse backgrounds, including ex-military, coffee machine, vending machine, white goods, refrigeration, ATM, and telecoms engineers.
· A formal engineering qualification to validate your expertise.
· Possession of a full UK driving license – a non-negotiable requirement.
· A burning passion for delivering top-tier customer service and impeccable time management skills.
· You’re a master at handling challenging customer conversations, always with an eye on finding effective resolutions.
· Your communication skills are top-notch, both in writing and speaking, and you can adapt your message for any audience.
· A solid foundation in IT, demonstrating competency at a level that helps you excel in your role.
