Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be mainly responsible for covering the North-West England & Central Belt of Scotland doing the maintenance, repairs and installations of Beckmann Coulter equipment such as Haematology Analysers, Urine chemistry analysers, and their Immunoassay product line.

Role Requirements
-Responsible for the service, installation, breakdown, repair, and calibration of a range of Beckmann Coulter equipment, utilised within the diagnostics industry.
-Attending key customer sites across the North-West of England & Central Belt of Scotland.
– Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown calls on customer’s equipment, in accordance with company procedures.
– To prioritise and attend all breakdowns as notified in the most efficient and cost-effective manner,
– To carry out all Contract Servicing as arranged with the service scheduler ensuring that the most cost-effective work programme is carried out.
– Follow product service, repair and installation method statements.
Person Specifications
– Background in IVD(diagnostics/blood) or wider scientific experience
– Previous experience working in a laboratory environment (either as an Engineer or end user with significant troubleshooting experience).
– Previous Field Service experience (desirable, not essential).
– A Degree or relevant qualification in Biomedical Engineering or similar (desirable, not essential).
– Willingness to travel to mainland Europe for specific product training, as well as an induction week at the company Head Office in Ireland.
– Willingness to travel across the North-West of England & the Central Belt of Scotland (Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh & Lanark)
