Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
You will install, maintain, and support Grifols equipment, respond to customer inquiries, document activities in CRM, and collaborate with global service teams to resolve issues.

Role Requirements
Travel may be required for training/ to meet reasonable Business needs.
37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes.
Adhere to procedures and protocols outlined by the company.
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, participate in customer site evaluations, upgrades of hardware and/or software, product installations, preventive maintenance, and ongoing service and support for all equipment at the customer facility and via telephone. Documentation of activities within CRM system.
Escalation of Customer Needs – openly communicate with other groups to assure rapid resolution of issues raised by customers.
Will communicate integrally with Global Service and Training (GS&T) and Account Managers regarding product performance
Person Specifications
Engineering or Technical degree or electronics certification
If no degree, 2 years’ experience in operating equipment in a laboratory environment.
3 – 5 years’ experience supporting highly complex diagnostic equipment in a medical or laboratory environment, or an equivalent facility.
Demonstrated, superior expertise in supporting and servicing highly complex instrumentation.
Excellent organisational, record keeping, and inventory skills required.
Knowledge of GMP, ISO and other certifying agency policies and regulations.

Up to £47,000
15% pension contribution
4x death in service contribution
Lease car during probationary period
26 days+ bank holidays +3.5 days for Christmas close down + birthday off (1 extra day after 5 years, 3 after 10 years and 5 after 15 years service)
Broadband payment up to a maximum of £50.00 per month paid into salary
Monthly car wash allowance of £25.00
