Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
As a Field Service Engineer for this company, you will be trained up on a number of OEM’s Medical Equipment through the official training courses. You will then be responsible for covering the South East territory, which is relatively regional and covers from Oxford to West London and down to the South Coast (with minimal overnight stays). You will travel to customers sites, which are primarily hospitals, to service, repair and calibrate a variety of medical devices including patient monitors and infusion devices.

The company works in partnership with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), offering a bespoke service that adapts to each customers’ needs and requirements, and they prvide the corresponding training courses to each of their engineers.
Role Requirements
· To carry out Medical device servicing, fault finding, repair, commissioning, and installations.
· The product line is mostly infusion devices and patient monitoring systems, but the variety is huge, including over 30 OEM’s which you will be trained on.
· Be prepared to travel to areas across the UK and potentially Ireland depending on needs of the business.
· The engineer must take pride in their work, maintain high standards of competency, and adhere to the relevant medical standards.
· Complete all service paperwork and documentation to the agreed standard.
· Ensure that company’s policies and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
· Full valid driving license.
Person Specifications
· Ideally Medical device repair and maintenance experience, however we will consider candidates with good electronic/field engineering experience.
· Previously worked in a field service role and is comfortable working in a medical environment.
· Personable and clear communication skills.
· Have a professional, flexible, self-motivated attitude.
· Have a “hands on” professional approach and a “can do” attitude.
