Zenopa’ s client is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team in London. The client is a world leading business in digital imaging, precision optics and instrument technology.

Role Requirements

– Delivery of service targets, ensuring all appropriate actions are taken in order to maximise service performance

– Initiate corrective actions as and when required to minimise instances of poor customer service

– Build, develop and maintain long-term relationships with customer base, through the timely and successful delivery of resolutions to customers’ issues

– Ensure that all customer issues are resolved promptly through high quality technical knowledge

– Ensure that the progress and action plan for all customer cases are communicated effectively to relevant staff.

Person Specifications

Scientific or engineering degree or qualification or subsequent experience

Experience servicing, repairing and installing high end medical or scientific equipment

Competence in Microsoft products, including M/S Office, OneNote & CRM

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, inc. optical, software, mechanical & electrical

Ability to apply commissioning & testing procedures in science applications

Ability to diagnose faults and recommend solutions over the telephone

Ability to plan, set up & install technical equipment

Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to build relationships

Package:
Base salary will depend on experience
Car Allowance £7,700
Subsistence allowance of £1,128 per year
