Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer. The ideal candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot, and fault find, with the ability to work both on their own and as part of a team, be forward thinking and organized to complete jobs within time frames, have a logical way of thinking and the ability to work away on occasion.

We have an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in the decontamination and infection prevention space looking for a field service engineer to join their team!
The Company was originally established in 1947 and specialized in the design and manufacture of ovens, incubators and other temperature-controlled products. From September 1966 it was aquired and began expanding it’s laboratory and medical equipment product portfolio; it was in 1973 that they began manufacturing autoclaves for the life science sector.
Role Requirements
-Autoclave Service and validation to the relevant HTM/UKAS standards
-Breakdown and fault finding down to component level
– Carry out activities on all of the company’s range of equipment and when required other manufacturers range
– Promote products and services
– Customer training on products
– Installation of all products
– Commissioning of products
– Perform additional tasks when required
– Have an enthusiasm for learning new things
– Validation report writing
Person Specifications
– Working industry knowledge of Large vacuum autoclaves.
– Electrical and/or mechanical experience in the field essential.
– Excellent problem-solving skills.
– Strong ability to communicate both written and verbally.
– Can navigate software and systems effectively.
– Ability to use Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
– Working knowledge of TQ Soft & IP Reports.
– HTM/STM/WD Autoclave validation certificate.
– Full UK driving licence required.
