Role Overview

You need to be customer orientated, to be capable of managing service duties independently within the field and have past experience working with ultrasound or Xray devices.

This is a national role with a focus around the Midlands. No requirement for overseas travel.

Company Information

We are partnered with a market-leading ultrasound & mobile x-ray specialist who are seeking a seeking dedicated Ultrasound and Xray Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Role Requirements

· Servicing, repairing, and maintaining ultrasound and Xray equipment in the field to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
· Providing timely, customer-focused field services including diagnosis and repairs of failures, preventative maintenance, and the installation of new systems.
· Offering remote and on-site technical support, troubleshooting and training to users.
· Contribute to tasks and projects at our Leicester headquarters when not in the field on occasion.
· In this role, your contribution will be pivotal in maintaining the reliability and excellence of ultrasound and Xray systems, ensuring our clients receive the outstanding service they associate with the company name.

Person Specifications

· Proven experience (preferably 3+ years) as a Field Service Engineer, particularly working with ultrasound and Xray systems, in both a service and a repair capacity.
· Experience in the MVS sector is an advantage, showcasing an ability to handle various vendor systems.
· Previous exposure to and understanding of the healthcare environment and related regulatory and compliance requirements.
· Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client locations.
· Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including possible evening work.

Technical Abilities:
· Strong proficiency in ultrasound and Xray hardware and software systems, capable of swiftly and accurately diagnosing and rectifying faults.
· Robust knowledge of electrical engineering principles, mechanical repair, and diagnostics within medical technology settings.
· Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to effectively address equipment issues.

Qualifications:
· Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field is desired.
· Relevant certifications pertaining to Ultrasound and Xray equipment servicing and maintenance.
