Role Overview

You will be responsible for the routine maintenance, calibrations, breakdowns and fault finding of various types of laboratory equipment across the UK.

This company specialises in the service, repair and maintenance of Laboratory equipment for laboratories and universities across the UK. This company cover a range of laboratory equipment services including Incubators, Centrifuges, Thermal Cyclers, Balances, Cryostats and Microtomes.

Role Requirements

Identifying faults in laboratory equipment through diagnostic procedures.
Generating comprehensive service reports following each visit or maintenance task.
Transmitting job sheets promptly to the head office.
Responding to customer site requests, as coordinated and approved by the head office, to conduct necessary repair activities.

Person Specifications

Experienced field service engineer who ideally has a background working with laboratory or medical devices
A level 3 or above Engineering/Electrical qualification (ideal) 
Full valid UK driving license
