Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
You will commission, validate, and maintain Decontamination equipment to laboratories, research centres, and hospitals across the UK.

Our client is part of an international manufacturing organisation that supplies highly engineered decontamination equipment and services to the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory and Research sectors.
They are a leader in the Decontamination field and continue to grow, working to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. They specialise in a range of equipment including Steam Sterilizers, Instrument Washer Disinfectors, Endoscope Washer Disinfectors, and Steam Generation plant.
Role Requirements
Be resourceful, show initiative, effectively multitask, and work well under pressure.
Perform commissioning, validation, planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown, and repair activities to products on site at customers’ premises.
Be home based and travel throughout the UK; this involves spending time away from home regularly.
Be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and standards, maintaining a positive attitude.
Person Specifications
You must have an ONC or City and Guilds in relevant engineering subjects.
You must have experience with automated systems, steam, compressor, pumps or other relevant industries.
You must have experience of working within an ISO registered environment.
Ideally you will have experience working with switchgear, panel wiring, 3 phase motors and low voltage circuits.
You must have excellent communication skills and act in a professional manner.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
