Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
Specialised ventilation is provided in areas such as operating departments, critical care and isolation facilities, in line with HTM 03-01 Specialised ventilation for healthcare premises (2021).
Critical ventilation ensures compliance with the quality assurance requirements of items processed in pharmacies and sterile services departments. Its use also protects staff from harmful organisms and toxic substances.

Role Requirements
Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations.
Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations.
Carrying out DOP and HEPA testing.
Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and rebalancing airflows.
Ensuring that all sales prospects, enquiries, and are professionally managed and delivered back to the office in accordance with procedures.
Maintaining allocated test equipment, ensuring calibration is current and certification is available for issue to all clients.
Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations.
Person Specifications
A proven track record in Field Service Engineering with an electrical bias.
A systematic and logical approach to problem solving & ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered.
Full driving licence is essential
Willingness to travel, often staying away up to 3 nights a week with some weekend work.
You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in servicing and maintaining electrical systems and products as well as strong technical diagnostic skills.
Package
£28,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience)
Door-to-door pay
Company Van (for personal use) + fuel card
Opportunity for paid overtime (week & weekends)
£500 float (monthly) to pay for meals & general expenses
