Role Overview

Responsible for fault finding, repair, maintenance and service of a range of complex scientific laboratory equipment.

Working in a head office based from Newcastle, this role would also include UK wide travel.

Role Requirements

Job role:
As a Field Service Engineer you will have contact with customers in scientific laboratories. You will be concentrating on installations, PM servicing, breakdowns, customer support, and troubleshooting. We are looking for someone willing to learn about new software and hardware with the ability to adapt to challenges.

Person Specifications

The ideal candidate should have the following experience / background:
HNC/HND Level 4 or equivalent experience.
First hand experience of a laboratory environment preferred but not essential
Focussed, self-motivated and a team player
Excellent communication skills
Willing to travel
