Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
Our client supplies sample preparation and analytical instrumentation for the chemical and life science markets. Products include analytical pyrolysis systems, microwave digestion, ashing, extraction, and synthesis systems, mercury analysers, micro GC gas analysers, nitric oxide analysers, supercritical fluid extraction systems, and Labtech general laboratory apparatus.
Territory:
Midlands/North England. 1 day a week in office (East Boldon) with UK wide travel.

Role Requirements
As a Field Service Engineer you will have contact with customers in scientific laboratories. You will be concentrating on installations, PM servicing, breakdowns, customer support, and troubleshooting. We are looking for someone willing to learn about new software and hardware with the ability to adapt to challenges.
Person Specifications
· HNC/HND Level 4 or equivalent experience.
· First-hand experience of a laboratory environment preferred but not essential
· Focused, self-motivated and a team player
· Excellent communication skills
· Willing to travel
