Field Service Engineer

They focus on clinical diagnostic domains such as immunochemistry, HPLC based diabetes diagnosis and follow-up, thalassaemia screening and molecular biology.
Role Requirements
? Providing support including but not limited to; installation, upgrades, demonstrations,
evaluations, basic operator training, troubleshooting, hotline support, problem solving and
maintenance of products and services by documenting; following-up and trace calls
according with Tosoh quality system procedures.
? Deliver remote (e.g., telephone, online) technical troubleshooting and support services to
ensure that all products and services function properly.
? Ensure the latest modifications and mandatory updates are carried out.
? Ensure all preventive maintenances are performed in a timely manner and efficient way.
? Compare test results with specifications and standards; record test results and data.
? Partner cross-functionally and internally while maintaining positive relationships and ensure
issues are resolved efficiently.
? Report activity using support tools software.
? Proactively improve expertise through continuous learning.
? Provide first level application support.
? Manage and maintain correct accounting and usage of own spare parts – car stock.
? Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company
Policies and the Corporate Procedures.
Person Specifications
? Bachelor in Technology, Engineering or Electronics.
? 3+ years of relevant field service engineering experience in Clinical Diagnostics
? Fluent in English
? Position is located in the South-East region, ideally near London
? Willingness to travel < 60%, also nationally
? Strong analytical & problem solving skills
? Customer - and service -oriented attitude
? Excellent planning and organization skills
? MS Office
