Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for any electro-mechanical customer focussed service engineer to join a reputable and established organisation in the scientific and healthcare market.
Location: Covering Manchester, Liverpool and Crewe but flexibility around travel is a necessity.
Role Requirements
Carry out on-site preventive maintenance visits and electrical / mechanical fault finding of equipment including our range of water treatment and other laboratory systems, repairs and emergency response visits
Carry out commissioning and installation work on water treatment and other laboratory equipment (such as Lab water products, CO2 Incubators, autoclaves and air flow cabinets) and provide after-sales technical and commercial support.
Work from technical documents (installation manuals, maintenance manuals, etc.)
Complete required service documentation to the required level. Complete call reports.
Work within a team to provide best customer experience, communicate with our Service Office team daily
Maintain car stock inventory of spare parts
Person Specifications
We are looking for individuals who has experience as a field service engineer
Ideally experience working with water purification, autoclaves / other laboratory devices
Strong electrical / mechanical experience –
Backgrounds which have been successful in the past: coffee engineers, printers, military, sound engineer.
Willingness to travel
Driving license
