Role Overview
Responsibilities:
· The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, repair, and troubleshooting of a range of scientific equipment including LCMS systems

We are recruiting on behalf of an global independent mass spec and chromatography sales and service company. Due to increase business they are looking for Field Service Engineer to cover South England on an exciting portfolio of products.
They are a customer service focussed company who give engineers autonomy to organise their own diary and do what they see fit to keep the customers happy.
Role Requirements
Priorities and Objectives
· To refurbish and validate equipment for the refurbished instrument program
· To identify new customers or new market segments that could become accounts.
· To build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to allow continuation of business and win incremental business
Key Responsibilities
· Complete and submit all paperwork to the admin team.
· Build and maintains relationship with existing and new customers
· Promote the brand and range of services where applicable
· Manage and be accountable for stock allocated to the service call.
· Give remote support via phone and email to customers where requested.
· Maintain knowledge of products and services.
Person Specifications
Person Specification
· Qualifications in a Science/engineering discipline.
· Driving Licence valid for the UK.
· Mass Spectrometry experience essential, HPLC experience and advantage.
· 2-3 years experience in the service, repair and troubleshooting of above systems.
· Good presentation, communication and inter-personal skills.
· Outgoing and confident and ability to work on your own and within the service team.
· A “keen to learn” approach and positive outlook
· Comfortable and confident telephone manner for supporting our customers remotely
· Numerate and competent with detail and analysis
· Prepared to travel throughout the UK – but mainly territory based.
