Role Overview
Service assignments comprising of preventive maintenance, calibration, repair, emergency breakdown callout, commissioning, and customer training of laboratory equipment, including:
Centrifuges
Incubators
Fridge/freezers
Shakers
Concentrators

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading life science organisation that are looking to expand their engineering team based in Manchester working closely on laboratory equipment with clients in the NHS, universities, and GP surgeries. Role Requirements
Completion of all relevant documentation including service reports and calibration certificates
Technical assistance/support to customers and the sales team for all product
Working with Service Manager/Team leader, and manufacturers on technical and support issues
Assist in ad-hoc tasks, such as scrap disposal, stock take, packing as required
Support a geographical region, which may involve overnight stays and supporting other regions
Person Specifications
Relevant technical and practical skills
IT literate and a good communicator on all levels
Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
Persistent and efficient, and used to deliver against deadlines and commitments
Customer and service orientation
Flexibility and logical troubleshooting ability
Full/Clean UK Driving License
HNC or equivalent in electrical/mechanical engineering desired
