Role Requirements
Service, repair, and maintain ultrasound and X-ray equipment at customer sites, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Deliver prompt, customer-focused support, including fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and system installations.
Provide remote and on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and user training.
Person Specifications
Proven experience (preferably 3+ years) as a Field Service Engineer, specifically working with Siemens ultrasound and X-ray systems.
Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing Siemens medical imaging equipment, with a focus on ultrasound and X-ray technology.
Experience in the Multi-Vendor Service (MVS) sector is an advantage.
Previous exposure to the healthcare environment and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Strong proficiency in ultrasound and X-ray hardware/software systems, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
Robust knowledge of electrical engineering principles, mechanical repair, and diagnostic practices in medical technology.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Relevant certifications in servicing and maintaining ultrasound and X-ray equipment.
Valid UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel to various client locations.
