Genomics Account Manager
Role Overview
TERRITORY: Cambridge/EA
PRODUCTS: Sanger Sequencing, Gene Synthesis, Microarray, Genotyping, Next Generation Sequencing and the Applied Genomics markets.
CUSTOMERS: Academic, Biotech and Pharmaceutical accounts.
Main duties will include:
– Developing and realizing the sales targets in the territory by personally visiting new and existing customers in industry, academia and biotechnology companies.
– Maintaining existing key account plans and partnerships with key contacts in scientific centres of excellence.
– Autonomously organizing regional events for the target groups
– Implementing the sales strategy in co-operation with the Sales Director and adapting it to the local situation.
– Delivering effective sales presentations; introduce and promote products and services.
– Working cross functionally with marketing, customer support, account managers, technical support, and scientific liaison to ensure customer’s satisfaction
– Providing monthly reports on sales activity, competitive threats and planned seminars
Person Specifications
Degree qualified in Molecular / Cell Biology
Proven track record in Scientific Sales, preferably Service Sales but Instrument / Consumable Sales applicants will also be considered.
Thrive on getting results and have a creative and innovative approach to your customers.
A natural relationship builder you communicate effectively and with ease and are confident presenting technical and business information at all levels.
Package
Basic salary of £45-55000 depending on experience
40% bonus
