For our Life Science team, we are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to manage the Instrumentation product portfolio. In this role you will be part of a dynamic global sales & marketing team and responsible for managing the marketing programs and strategies of our instrumentation products across the Diagenode portfolio.

Role Requirements
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Act as the product/franchise leader- representing voice of customer and interests of the business when dealing with key internal stakeholders such as global marketing, operations, quality, regulatory, finance and sales.
Be recognized as a critical resource for the field sales team in interpreting workflow data, guidelines, product benefits and competitive positioning.
Provide recommendations for long-term roadmap and strategic vision for the instrumentation product portfolio.
Develop keen understanding of relevant workflow advantages and lead teams in refining product positioning and developing key messages for customers.
Develop and monitor key product performance metrics.
Manage and drive all go-to-market activities around new product introductions.
Establish relationships with key customers to develop advocates and educate influential leaders on product performance.
Identify strategic collaborations and partnerships for the development of the related product business
Develop and drive portfolio and lifecycle strategies through product level changes and communicate those changes to internal teams and customers.
Provide forecasting input including market segment plans and resulting demand.
Update and maintain product and market condition information.
Development of marketing plans for assigned products.
Assist in development of positioning, messaging and content including training/education materials in support of product strategy.
Work intimately with customers and the broader commercial organization to understand potential product enhancements and modifications.
Monitor and communicate competitive activity, market trends and product performance as well as formulating strategic responses.
Influence the sales training strategy including development and delivery of content.
Represent marketing to core teams to ensure business and customer requirements are incorporated into the product development process.
Person Specifications
Master’s or PhD in Molecular Biology or similar
Product management experience ideally from IVD, Biomedical or life science industry
Experience in usability and customer-focused design
Passion for building great products to solve customer and business problems
Knowledge and previous hands-on experience in several molecular diagnostic technologies e.g., qPCR, Isothermal amplification, NGS, CRISPR, Epigenetic and other nucleic acid manipulations/preparations
Plus :
Ability to lead and influence across a global cross-functional team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French would be a plus
