Job Purpose: To provide an efficient and professional repair, maintenance and service provision on a wide variety of HPLC, GC, MS, CTC, Dissolution, automated SPE & associated systems to customers, where required and as the business demands.

Job Purpose: To provide an efficient and professional repair, maintenance and service provision on a wide variety of HPLC, GC, MS, CTC, Dissolution, automated SPE & associated systems to customers, where required and as the business demands.

Main Role:
Install and optimize hardware/software products and configuration at customer site
Performs IQ/OQ/preventative maintenance and repair when required at customer site
Train other engineers and customers
Maintain up to date knowledge of the Company’s products and services and current research, and maintain data, providing accurate reports
Maintain adequate amounts of stock and equipment at all times in order to minimise customer downtime and ensure compliance with contractual objectives
Develop and maintain effective customer facing communication and questioning skills to determine the issues to be resolved.
Intermediate level IT skills in MS Office and report writing in Word & Excel.
Ensure customer field service reports are completed and any surplus parts are returned to the office within a 48 hour time frame.

Qualifications:
Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND or BSc in a chemistry discipline or an ONC, HNC in an engineering discipline.
Full UK driving license
Proactive and self-motivated approach to maintaining current knowledge of products and services, and scanning the external environment to keep to date on current research and learning
