Role Overview
It is a standalone role where you will be the face of the foundation and report directly to the founder.
At least 1 day of the 2 is required at the offices in North London.
The role is representing a brain health foundation who run two big events per year. They are part of a wider company who specialise in medical publishing.
Company Information
This is a part time, permanent role for 2 days per week for a Head of Scientific Programmes and Communications.
Role Requirements
Its an interesting role that blends event management, stakeholder management, research, social media, PR and media communications. You will also be the main contact for engaging with scientists and academic institutions where necessary.
Person Specifications
-A background in a scientific subject – Undergraduate degree at 2:1 level at a minimum
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with at least some experience of public speaking
-Strong listening, diplomatic, influencing and relationship-building skills
– Ability to critically evaluate information, particularly in the scientific field
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
Package
Salary will be based on a FTE.
