Role Requirements

The Healthcare Account Manager role is centered around three core areas:

Growing and improving the number of check-ins made by commercial visitors.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Increasing service expansion through credentialing card sales.

Primary Role Focus

Ensure hospital compliance and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.

Work to a pre-agreed plan each quarter to increase compliance across allocated hospitals.

Monitor visit numbers weekly to track increases and work with hospitals to improve compliance.

Explore opportunities to expand service use within hospital trusts.

Secondary Role Focus

Roll out the credentialing service to new healthcare providers following established processes.

Arrange training and visits for individual departments and procurement teams.

Relaunch the service within hospitals in alignment with internal strategies.

Onsite Visits & Training

Conduct a minimum of two pre-agreed site visits to maintain relationships and explore service expansion opportunities.

Pre-book and coordinate site visits as part of core focus areas discussed in team meetings.

Provide training for individual departments and procurement teams using the service.

Person Specifications

Proven experience as an Account Manager within the MedTech/Healthcare sector (minimum 2 years).

Strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, NHS procurement processes, and compliance requirements.

Strong sales and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Strong ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and maintain multiple client relationships.

Proficiency in IT systems, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM software.

Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients.
