Inside Sales Specialist
Role Overview
The successful candidates will be part of our in-house Sales Team and will operate from the offices in Birmingham (GB). There may be some flexibility for some home working for the right candidate.
The Inside Sales Representative reports directly to the Sales Team Leader and Country Manager.
The overall Inside Sales Representative Structure across the subsidiaries reports to the International Sales Director.
This role is a pivotal role in the organization and you will have the opportunity to interact with all members of the team and be a key contact point for the majority of our customers.

Role Requirements
The Inside-Sales Representative performs a number of different sales activities broken into 2 main areas:-
1] After Sales promotion & Support:
The requirement is to contact, on a regular basis, existing customers to proactively promote so called “After Sales” products, primarily
Disposable tips and all range of “Smart Consumables” (including monitoring customer loyalty and check competition market penetration)
In-house or local trainings for customers
Service contracts
Qualification and validation services
Method programming and implementation of new applications
Hardware and software upgrades
New accessories, modules and devices
The portfolio of products and services which could be relevant for the customer
2] Lead Generation
The Inside-Sales Representative actively supports the Sales organization by managing local lead generation campaigns, running cold calling campaigns and have a key role in refining existing marketing material for a local audience or on occasions help generate new local marketing material.
This activity will be through our own targetted approaches, using relevant software or web based approaches as well as liasing with external companies who have a specific role to generate leads in new or existing market segments. Your role with these companies will be to guide and manage their campaigns, filter and qualify their results and work with the Territory managers and Country manager to identify targets and specific campaigns and emasure results against some agreed KPI’s.
The role will also form part of our new Diagnostics Strategy and will assist with the new Product Specialist to help identify leads and opportunities.
For the Lead Generation part of the role we would be looking for a self starter and a person that can bring new ideas and experience to the role and be allowed some freedom to develop the role for the client and themselves. The ability to hunt and target opportunities will be key attirubute to this role.
Person Specifications
Academic degree in Life Sciences (Biology/Pharmacology/Biochemistry or related areas) prefered
Experience in Lab Automation is a bonus
Good IT skills with Excel, CRM platforms, Internet Savvy and the desire to learn new software platforms for Lead Generation.
