Internal Sales and Business Development
Role Overview
This role would involve being responsible for handling incoming sales and technical enquiries from customers. You would provide technical support, product advice, quotes and close sales. In addition to this, you will build relationships with customers and make product recommendations to them. The types of products you’d be working with are Titrators, Photometers, Electrodes and Probes, Solutions and Reagents.
Part of your role would involve:
– Managing top account customers
– Identify sales opportunities and execute sales calls
– Contract negotiation
– Working with the external team to identify customers who require a visit or product demonstration
– Identify key accounts and operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders
Role Requirements
Other responsibilities will include:
-Answering both pre-sales and post-sales technical enquiries on their products and applications
– Ensuring all contacts are recorded in the company’s CRM and ERP systems (Hubspot and Encore)
– Maintaining your technical knowledge by attending workshops and in-house training.
Person Specifications
They are seeking a degree or equivalently educated individual in Chemistry or similar subject, with some experience in a technical support or sales role.
The ability to work in a team environment and communciate well are essential, along with an understanding of CRM systems and good IT literacy skills.
