Role Overview

This Internal Sales Support role based in Oxfordshire will see you become part of the UK sales and service team, where you’ll work to build and maintain customer relationships to achieve targets and help drive the growth of the business. You’ll be supporting the field sales team and also assisting customers with post sales enquiries, monitoring customer payments and more!

This role offers great progression opportunities for someone looking to get into a technical support, marketing or any sales career within the industry, you could find yourself in one of these roles withing the first 1-2 years of joining!

We’re working with a fast growing company specialising in high-tech analysis solutions, suitable for the ever-changing industrial sector. Their range of lab and field instruments helps companies reduce costs and improve efficiency through the production of high quality products.

Role Requirements

– Support the sales team with new enquiries.
– Support the customer in the period between when an order is placed and when the service team conduct the installation. This could involve sending order confirmations, monitoring pre-payments, sending final customer invoices, helping with any technical queries they may have, etc.
– Maintain regular contact with customers
– Working closely with the UK Service team to create the best possible customer experience
– Working as part of EMEA sales and back-office administration team
– Salesforce CRM administration and reporting
– Work with the marketing team to help build campaigns and generate future business and brand awareness
– Assist the sales team with tender submissions
– Participate in training and development activities as required
– Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities in line with the scope and level of responsibility of the post, which might reasonably be required
– Occasional UK travel accompanying the UK sales team to key customer visits or exhibitions

Person Specifications

This role is perfect for a recent science or engineering graduate looking to take their first step into a customer facing role, giving you the chance to gain experience in the industry!
