Role Overview

The IT Product Specialist will assist the companies customer base by providing leading IT support, covering System Design, System Installation / Configuration and Customer Support Desk, covering both hardware and software.

The successful candidate should possess the passion and experience to deliver exceptional next generation application and hardware support both on-site and remotely.

To be successful in this role a substantial amount of UK and Ireland travel will be required in order to perform routine technical support and hardware installations to the expected standard; ultimately ensuring an effective and efficient output from this area of important business. To improve what is already exceptional customer support.

Role Requirements

CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE, TELEPHONE SUPPORT
– Engage in telephone support.
– First and second level remote support
– Respond within pre-defined KPI time scales.

PRODUCT IT SYSTEMS PLANNING AND INSTALLATION
– Perform IT site surveys
– Attend and contribute to project meetings
– Installation of IT systems
– System upgrades at EOL
– Configuration of IT systems

CUSTOMER TRAINING COURSES
– Administer and deliver customer training courses in-house, on site or online
– Continually update training course material to reflect new practice.
– Develop, promote and maintain Customer Competency Examinations
– Maintain high customer competency examination pass rate.

Person Specifications

Essential Requirements:
Customer focused.
Good organisational and presentation skills.
Full driving licence
Experience troubleshooting IT Systems
Experience of Remote IT Support
TCP/IP awareness.
