Role Overview

The individual should have a strong background in life science research and previous sales experience within the life science field is essential. Our client places strong emphasis on building highly collaborative relationships with customers.
You will manage and grow business with prestigious institutes and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing key account strategies.

Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge technologies and technical assistance to the life sciences sector. For more than 20 years, our client has offered products for DNA-based human identification.

Role Requirements

· Develop sales within Key Academic and Government accounts
· Selling an extensive range of highly innovative life science products and customized solutions to researchers in established, well supported accounts.
· Confidence in current technologies for cell biology; DNA, RNA, protein analysis is essential.
· Excellent territory analysis, planning and reporting skills to optimize territory performance.
· Identifying new business opportunities, including new clients and new partnerships.
· Build, execute and deliver strategic goals for the territory.
· Maintain a customer relationship management (CRM) database for customers in the territory.
· Build revenue budgets for key accounts.
· Prospect and map new customers while identifying relevant customers for new product launches.

Person Specifications

PhD in Life Sciences or a life science degree
At least 3 years’ sales experience
Essential: Full, clean driving license
Candidate should be self-motivated, determined, and personable.
Highly organised, structured; skilled at managing time effectively and able to deliver under pressure.
