Role Overview
You will sell their entire portfolio of laboratory products to the NHS, private clinical laboratories, academia, and research laboratories across the South of England.

Role Requirements
To create, maintain and execute strategic and tactical key account plans.
To identify and take opportunities to develop new key accounts and contacts whilst maintaining and growing existing business.
To communicate regularly with the commercial services team on activity with all accounts.
To acquire and retain knowledge of the appropriate products and services so that the customer can be fully supported and the right solution to meet their needs can be offered.
To achieve forecast sales and margin targets by selling products from across the portfolio, maintaining a balanced product mix.
Person Specifications
Sales experience in the scientific sector, particularly clinical, research and academic markets.
Good understanding of Key Account Management concepts.
Knowledge of Managed Service Contracts and Third-Party Procurement.
Excellent interpersonal skills with experience of influencing different types of stakeholders.
Broad contacts within the industry.
Good appreciation of the driving forces in the industry.
