Laboratory Specialist
Role Overview
They are seeking a Laboratory Specialist to aid with lab design, market research, customer meetings and more!
This is a hybrid based role, with a 2/3 day split between home and their office, with a day of travel to customers in the London and Oxford areas once a week at most. When meeting customers you will show them how their products can be best used to suit their needs, involving design coordination, product utilisation and organisation of the lab! When in the office, you’ll help with design of products layout of laboratories, working closely with their in-house team.

Our client is a fast growing company operating within the Life Science, AI and Space industries, seeking a laboratory specialist to join their team! They have provided support for leading companies in lab design since 2006 and are looking to expand their team to reach a wider variety of customers across the UK!
Role Requirements
Some other roles include:
– User requirement document managment, for example: client queastionnaires, room data sheets, project follow up
– Design coordination
– Attendance to project and site meetings when required
– Market research of potential customers when required
– Management of health and safety, regulatory compliance documents and the internal database
– Attending networking events when required
– Liasing and working closely with the team during project design and delivery
Person Specifications
They are seeking an individual with a minimum of three years experience in science laboratories, who has an interest in lab design, installation and techncial issues. The successful applicant will have the ability to search suppliers and provide product details, so good computer, organisational and communication skills are essential. A degree or Masters qualification in Life or Chemical Science is required, along with a ful driving licence due to the field aspect of this role.
Package
In terms of package, our client is willing to pay around £35,000 for the right candidate; there is flexibility in this dependent on experience. In addition, they offer a profit related bonus scheme, along with fully expensed travel when visiting customer sites.
