Role Overview

We are a leading manufacturer and provider of laboratory instrumentation particularly into the Chemistry R&D field, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketer to lead our marketing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and a proven track record of creating compelling customer stories, white papers, and marketing materials. The Marketing Manager will work closely with our current marketing team members to lead the direction and narrative of our marketing efforts. They will also work closely with the sales team especially in terms of key customer communications, exhibition planning and attendance.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive sales
Manage and optimize all online marketing channels, including website, social media and email marketing campaigns
Working with the sales team to lead exhibition planning, preparation and attending key exhibitions.
Continuously monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make adjustments as needed
Collaborate with product development, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand message
Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and implement new strategies as appropriate
Develop and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and publications
Manage the marketing budget and track ROI reporting to the board
Create compelling customer stories, white papers, brochures, and other marketing materials
Direct the company’s YouTube channel and video program.
A great personality able to talk and present products directly to customers in support of the sales operation especially when attending our exhibitions.
Lead and mentor the marketing team, providing guidance and direction to achieve marketing goals

Person Specifications

Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and technologies, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and analytics is ideal. We particularly need someone with extensive experience in Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram etc.
Experience in the scientific laboratory instrumentation industry is a big plus.
Excellent writing and editing skills for white papers, customer stories, and other marketing materials
Experience in video production, direction, and YouTube management a bonus
Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A degree in a science subject and a strong technical background, ideally in Chemistry.
Having the CIM qualification would be a bonus
