Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an MSc or PhD educated scientist with antibody, ELISA and protein knowledge to join a rapidly growing scientific company as a Marketing Specialist.
This role is part of their European marketing team, based in Manchester and is an ideal step for a commercially minded candidate who is looking to move into the biotechnology industry!
As a Marketing Specialist, you will drive new marketing initiatives in a dynamic and supportive environment; there are also a range of opportunities for personal development within the business too.

This global biotechnology company that manufactures Antibodies and ELISA kits. They are significantly growing, provide excellent quality reagents to customers and control the manufacturing, validation and QC process.
Role Requirements
Main Responsibilities:
– Oversee the organisation of the company’s field-marketing strategy and support this activity to raise awareness of the brand within key accounts
– Create and manage scientific marketing content: educational blogs, technical product emails, summarising publications, technical campaigns
– Manage and attend scientific conferences and other local events
– Support the field-based sales team to achieve their commercial goals through providing marketing materials, marketing campaigns and technical product training
– Work with the Graphic Designer to create scientific marketing material, with the aim to produce compelling technical content
– Support the wider marketing and product management team on their tasks
– Track and report on the relevant marketing KPIs
Person Specifications
Person Specification:
Educated to research Masters or PhD level in a life science discipline (BSc and scientific communication or marketing experience will be considered).
Excellent scientific written and verbal communication skills
Confident in making new connections across all seniority levels (PhD students to senior business leaders).
Laboratory experience (from with research modules)
Extensive antibody application experience is highly desirable
Driven and able to work on own initiative
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Native or fluent English speaking
Full clean UK driving license
Package
Package:
Base salary up to around £40,000
Part of the company’s annual bonus scheme
32 Days Annual leave (Includes Bank Holidays)
