Medical Editor/ Senior Medical Editor
Role Overview
” With support from senior team members, provide effective editing support to UK delivery teams:
o Edit and proof-read outputs for grammatical accuracy and consistency, demonstrating good attention to detail
o Update outputs (eg slide decks, publications, print materials, etc.) to house, client-specific or congress/journal requirements
o Implement editing amends into working drafts, utilising own knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
o Learn and apply knowledge of operational and editorial templates
” Work collaboratively with internal team members for efficient delivery of project work
” Understand how projects are costed and deliver allocated tasks to budget, proactively flagging in advance where budgeted hours are likely to be exceeded
” Under guidance, prioritise workload to ensure multiple projects are delivered to internal and external deadlines

Person Specifications
Life science degree (preference: pharmacology/pharmacy, medicine, biomedical sciences)
Life sciences or similar degree
Previous agency editing experience
