National Account Manager
Role Overview
The National Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing an OTC portfolio and have the drive to build strategic, profitable relationships with the country’s top retailers and an appetite for success. My client have agressive growth plans and have experience significant success over recent years.

With a diverse product portfolio that spans more than 85 branded and generic products in over 175 dosage forms, their products are sold in the US, the UK and Germany, via subsidiaries and through a trusted network of partners in more than 30 countries worldwide.
Role Requirements
Defining budgets, strategies, build annual promotional plans, negotiating cost-price increases, and brand activities
Developing joint business plans
P&L ownership
Bringing to market exciting innovation
Managing forecasts and building long term relationships both internally and externally
Developing close relationships with internal stakeholders (supply chain, marketing, finance)
Maintain knowledge of product category/s, range, competitor insights, increase market share, maximise profitability on all lines
Person Specifications
Account management experience – you will be a proven NAM or an NAE with account responsibility
Cross-functional experience – across branded and own-label products
Degree standard with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Grocery sales
Experience of a CRM database
Ability to manage relationships at all levels with the business, have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
