My client is looking for someone with a background in organic chemistry to join their small team as an Oligonucleotide Synthesis Scientist. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside world leader’s in this field and to gain experience and training in the specialist area of Oligonucleotide Synthesis. This is a multi-faceted opportunity which will allow you to develop your wet lab skills as well as your client-facing skills. They are recruiting for people at both their sites in Oxford and Southampton.

What are my client looking for?
– An MSc / PhD graduate in organic chemistry or a related discipline
– Experience with HPLC, mass spectrometry and LCMS
– Ideally some knowledge of nucleic acid chemistry
– Great communication skills

What will you be doing?
– Performing cutting-edge oligonucleotide synthesis and analysis
– Working across and being trained in all stages of the synthesis process
– Dealing with clients
