Product Marketing Manager
Role Overview
Reporting directly in to the Sales & Marketing Director, this role is focused around driving the product marketing globally for all products in the Pelvic Floor portfolio. Working closely with the team and your line manager, you’ll be responsible for driving the longer term strategy whilst being creative and flexible when working with the sales team, to ensure they have all the product messaging tools and content they need to help the business grow.

Role Requirements
– Write a marketing plan for each product group
– Generating content and materials for new product launches coming to market
– Communicate the vision and value of all products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process.
Including, Product Messaging, including Positioning, Features & Benefits and Unique Selling Proposition (USP), white papers, presentations, collateral, competitive analysis
– Create content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog post
– Work with UK & International Key Opinion leaders (KOL’s) to help build awareness and adoption of all products & Write detailed product launch plans
– Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data
– Work with PR agencies at relevant and appropriate times
– Use market research data to establish and set product pricing
– Working with all relevant departments to ensure the product is effectively introduced to the market and continues to be successful
– Speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
– Demonstrate the ability to detail specific product benefits to customers and use effective and prepared responses to objections
– Be the company expert for the products in the defined portfolio, viz, how the products are used, features and benefits, technical know-how
– Be the company expert with respect of the competition
Person Specifications
1. Have proven marketing experience and/or a graduate from an intellectual discipline, ideally Life Sciences
2. Proven ability to influence across cross functional teams without formal authority
3. Have good organisational skills
4. A good communicator
5. A flexible and entrepreneurial approach
6. Have excellent time management skills
7. Be highly proficient in IT skills, with the ability to learn new software packages both quickly and effectively
8. Must have the ability to work flexible hours, as the needs of the business demand
9. Must be able to travel within the UK and internationally
10. Ability to work on own initiative and take instructions when necessary and respond in a co-operative and willing manner
Package
Competitive base salary – up to around £58,000
Bonus scheme
Car allowance – £550
Holidays with birthday off on top
