Role Overview
To expand relationships with existing customers as required by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines. You will also support product managers in marketing activities required as well as being responsible for the product ranges.
Company Information
We are currently working with a leading IVD distributor sourcing their products from top global manufacturers. They possess an extensive range of products, encompassing laboratory instrumentation and diagnostic kits, and have experienced significant growth in recent years. They are actively seeking a microbiology product specialist to join their team.
Role Requirements
– Give product presentations for customers.
– Organize and provide reagent and instrument demonstrations.
– Support the Sales team in developing our product portfolio with existing and new customers.
– Carry out Market research and Marketing Plans for required product ranges to assess potential in the market.
-Assist in new product introduction to the market.
– Responsible for providing the Sales Team with the necessary technical and scientific background to enable them to sell the product.
– Build and maintain relationships with KOLs
Person Specifications
– Scientific and technical background in microbiology
– Excellent commercial awareness
– Demonstrate good organization skills with the ability to prioritise job functions to meet deadlines, ensure smooth workflow and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
– Excellent presentation skills
– Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
