Product Specialist
Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Product Specialist in Industry Pharma to meet Marketing and Sales strategy covering the South of England.
Role Requirements
– Promote the value of the products through customer meetings according to the Sales & Marketing strategy, ensuring all customer interactions are fully detailed in the CRM (events and associated data)
– Organise, Support and Attend Marketing events within the cluster.
– Participate and implement projects by coordinating with team members, including both Sales, Application Specialists and Service Engineers to pursue the short-term Sales Target and the long-term Company Strategy
– Develop and maintain relationships with customers and influencers within the territory by regular contact (face to face, Teleconference) to facilitate sales and widen the commercial network.
– Actively gather and report market data and trends / changes in markets that may affect the performance of the Industry Division.
– Become proficient in the use of the provided business tools including but not limited to; CRM, Quotation Tool, Excel, Teleconference platform.
– Assist in the production of all quotations and tenders relating to the relevant product group in line with company pricing strategy and mindful of any Purchasing Hub agreements.
– Respond to quote / tender requests complying to the current commercial policy.
Person Specifications
You will need to have a BSC or BA in science and experience of working in a laboratory environment.
Previous sales experience is preferred.
You will need to demonstrate that you have a good understanding of our product ranges and a view of the market and our competition.
You must be able to work on multiple prorities and in a team and as an individual.
Good communication and presentation skills are a must.
