Role Overview

It’s a knowledge based sales and research role and would suit someone who is interested in learning about drugs and new products who has a commercial flair.

Reporting to the Head of Publishing Solutions, the Publications Solutions Executive is responsible the commercialisation of clinical content, including reprint and ePrint sales, sponsored access, and permissions, as well as ancillary sales around repurposing and adapting published content.

Zenopa are working with a progressive scientific publisher, based in North London who are currently seeking a Publications Solutions Executive.
This is a great entry level opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter, ideally a recent graduate with a scientific degree.

The company is an independent publisher of around 50 people, who are great at embracing innovation, have a future-focused outlook and collaborative spirit.

Role Requirements

The successful candidate must be willing to undertake all aspects of sales generation, including researching and identifying contacts, sending out published content to generate sales leads and nurturing and closing sales. The role also requires the fulfilment of orders, including liaison with printers and other third parties as well as communication within the relevant teams.
As such, the role requires someone with a mix of meticulous attention to established processes, along with the drive of a successful salesperson.

Person Specifications

A recent graduate with a scientific degree interested in a commerical role in STM publishing.

Package

This role does require an individual to work in the office, 5 days per week. They are 20 minutes to Central London and on the Northern Line. The area surrounding the office has a variety of shops and restaurants.

The package will consist of a starting base salary of £26k , rising to £29k after the first year and £20k OTE commision , plus £3K annual travel allowance paid monthly with your salary regardless of your mode of transport to work from day one.

They are a fun and dynamic company who have a successful graduate hiring programme, so you would be joining with people on similar levels of experience.
