Role Overview

As the Regional Sales Manager covering the DACH region, you will be responsible for business and will also support our distributor network directly and together with your colleagues to achieve and expand sales and earnings targets in the XRF area. You will report directly to the sales manager.

Role Requirements

– You will create an ambitious growth plan together with the sales management and drive the implementation forward proactively.
– You have organizational skills in the sales team and other interfaces such as applications, order processing, service.
– You will advise customers, hold consultations independently, develop and optimize application-specific solutions, create offers and follow them up to the conclusion of the contract. You will work closely with product management, colleagues from the application laboratory and sales management.
– You identify new customers in research and industry.
– You are responsible for data maintenance in the CRM system (Salesforce.com).
– You observe the markets and the market participants.
– You support marketing by taking part in trade fairs and conferences.

Person Specifications

– You have professional training in the technical and scientific field with very good knowledge of inorganic analytics or an academic degree in physics, chemistry, geosciences, or similar.
– You have experience in the application of XRF analysis and, if necessary, demonstrable success in the sale of capital goods that require explanation in the B2B area.
– Experience with European tender regulations is desirable.
– You act confidently and as a team player internally and externally.
– You have a strong motivation for sales and have the necessary negotiating skills.
– You have strong oral and written communication skills in German and English and, if necessary, another language.
You are well organized and self-motivated to develop customer and result-oriented solutions.
They are characterized by an extremely friendly nature and like to communicate directly, by telephone or via the Internet.
You enjoy frequent trips within Germany and Europe.
You feel comfortable in an international environment and have a feeling for cross-cultural differences.
You like to work from home and look after your sales area from there.
