Excellent opportunity for a life science sales individual within the University and NHS market segment. Developing new business and maintaining and developing revenue streams.

Role Requirements

· Maintain and develop sales opportunities with existing clients.
· Identify and prospect new clients; and develop new business opportunities.
· Upselling and cross-selling from the company product portfolio to meet assigned targets.
· Arrange and conduct customer meetings to support direct sales efforts, allocating a minimum of 2 days per week to in-field face-to-face meetings with customers.
· Attend trade show, where appropriate and necessary, to develop new business opportunities.
· Negotiate contracts and close agreements to increase revenue streams and maximize profits.
· Serve as the lead point of contact for all assigned customers and all account management matters.
· Develop and maintain long-term relationships, at all levels of management and responsibility, with current customers and accounts.
· Ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
· Communicate client needs to, and liaise with, internal staff to ensure the provision of appropriate customer service.

Person Specifications

· Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a relevant scientific subject and/or relevant work experience.
· Sales’ experience, preferably in laboratory consumables or equipment.
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
