Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Territory manager this opportunity would suit candidates that wish to enter the medical devices industry and be supported in their development working in close collaboration with the territory manager and wider team.

The position would suit an individual with some prior sales experience 1-2 years min or from a medical background e.g. physio, operating department practitioner, theatre nurse. This is a remote based role with travel to hospitals required 80%+ of the time, focused on the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Middlesex area. Flexibility required dependant on business needs for support in London and surrounding areas as well as occasional visits to head office based near Stansted Airport.

Role Requirements

Following an intensive induction based at Head Office and subsequently out in the field you will be responsible for maintaining existing business as directed and supported by the territory manager:
– Supporting cases offering product support to theatre teams
– Ensuring all loan kits are booked
– Following up on loan bookings to ensure everything required is available for upcoming cases
– Instrument and Implant consignment audits on a periodic basis
– Activity reports & Account details kept up to date via CRM and monthly reports
– Identifying and developing new business opportunities
– Communicating education opportunities to surgeons
– Following up on leads, both education and new business
– Supporting at trade shows and Sovereign Medical educational events

In this role, you will collaborate closely with an experienced team to develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will play an integral role in customer education, aiding the sales team in enhancing customer engagement and achieving commercial success. Your proactive efforts will be directed at identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities to expand presence in specific accounts, while consistently providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a patient-centric approach.

Prerequisites:
– B.A. or B.S degree with a 2:1 classification, preferably in a science or business-related subject; advantageous but not essential (or an equivalent level of experience).
– experience in sales or business would be beneficial but is not mandatory.

– A coachable mentality and an embrace of a growth mindset.
– The ability to demonstrate drive, a desire to succeed, and a competitive spirit.
