Sales Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a fast-paced and results-oriented commercial profile to join our SME. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of DNA and RNA sample extraction and clinical pathogen detection diagnostics within a defined territory. This role entwines direct sales with sales & marketing management responsibilities and requires a deep understanding of the clinical laboratory market.

Role Requirements
” Sales:
o Achieve and exceed sales quotas for DNA and RNA sample extraction and clinical pathogen detection products.
o Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new accounts and expand business within existing accounts.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in clinical laboratories, including pathologists, microbiologists, and laboratory managers.
o Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers on the benefits of our products.
o Provide technical support and product training to customers.
” Sales Management:
o Manage, develop and grow a small team of sales representatives.
o Provide sales coaching and mentorship to team members.
o Set sales targets and performance metrics for the team.
o Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for improvement.
” Marketing:
o Collaborate with outside marketing agency to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
o Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Person Specifications
” Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field.
” Proven track record of success in medical device or diagnostic sales.
” Experience in sales management (preferred).
” Strong understanding of the clinical laboratory market and diagnostic testing procedures.
” Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
” Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
” Self-motivated and results-oriented.
” Proficiency in sales CRM and other relevant software applications.
