Sales Manager - Process Technology

An exciting opportunity for someone with experience selling goods into the process industry, ideally from a mechanical engineering background, to join a leading laboratory technology company.
Job targets/Area of responsibility:
– Penetrate and develop new accounts for the company’s process equipment
– Specify and quote appropriate equipment or systems according to the customers’ needs
– Perform sales calls and presentations and key account seminars to customers
– Maintain existing sales accounts while developing new key accounts
– Provide assistance on testing as well as start-up assistance as needed
– Coordinate tradeshows within region, participate in meetings, organizations and industry activities
– Report leads, active projects and sales activities direct to Vice President Process Technology
What are we looking for?
– Minimum Bachelor´s in Science (BSc) or Engineering (BEng)
– > 5 years’ experience in sales of investment goods in the process industry
– Strong communication and negotiation skills
– Highly self-motivated and target-oriented
– Problem solving abilities and customer focus
– Furthermore: driver’s license, familiar with SAP, Windows and MSO
