Role Overview
This role encompasses both sales management and the management of key accounts.
As a Sales Manager you will lead a team of four, overseeing sales to pharmaceutical companies, as well as the R&D, oil and gas, and environmental laboratory sectors across the UK.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for those seeking to transition from a senior analytical chemistry sales role into a more managerial position.

Our client is one of the UK’s largest pharmaceutical and chemical companies, serving as a leading third-party supplier for HPLC, GC, and MS systems. They are currently looking for an experienced chromatography sales profile looking to join the team!
Role Requirements
– Works with current Sales staff to develop appropriate sales strategy to meet or exceed company growth targets
– Takes a leading role in the Sales team to sell and promote the Services and products of the company.
– Guide & influence company strategy on portfolio & product strategy.
– Manage personal Sales territory or segment to achieve the desired results.
– Identifies new opportunities for growth with both new and existing customers
Person Specifications
– Significant Experience in analytical instrument and/or service sales
– Proven knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector
– Ability to work with the wider team to ensure customer requirements are appropriately communicated in order to meet or preferably exceed customer expectations.
– Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with customers at ALL organisational levels i.e. from lab technician to CEO of an SME
