Sales Specialist
Role Overview
To ensure the brand is best represented in the diagnostics marketplace. To ensure that all targets for sales, placements and visit activity are exceeded. To ensure that all relevant information is fed back to the company and all appropriate data is recorded according to Company systems.

Our client are now one of the fastest growing diagnostics companies in the UK, looking to bring on baord a Sales Specialist to cover the North West & Scotland.
Role Requirements
· Ensure that sales revenue targets are achieved.
· Develop and implement a regional sales strategy for new key product launches and existing product portfolio.
· Work together with the UK marketing team to implement, execute and maintain local market analysis (sizing, trends, dynamics), customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments.
· Ensure visit analysis targets are met in terms of both calls per day and product focus.
· Maintain up to date records for all Key Prospects.
· To ensure that all accounts that are going to tender within 24 months are actively managed through the sales cycle.
· To perform demonstrations at customer sites at a timely point in the sales cycle to optimise closing success.
· Perform lunchtime presentations at key sites to stimulate new opportunities
· Ensure that customer records are kept up to date at all times and call reports are always inserted into the CRM system on the same day as the visit.
Person Specifications
· Degree or relevant professional qualification in a scientific field
· A knowledge of the practical clinical application of Pathology, ideally gained through direct work experience in an NHS clinical laboratory
· Minimum 2 years direct sales experience selling into NHS clinical laboratories ideally selling high value products on capital or reagent rental basis
· Proven selling skills with record of success in a complex sales cycle
· Excellent planning and organisational capabilities with high attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills including phone, written and spoken
· Ability to communicate well at all levels in the organisation
· Full UK driving licence

Pension: Employee 5%. Employer starting at 10% raising 0.5% per year up to 15% after 10 years service
