Sales Specialist
Role Overview
You will respond to inbound sales inquiries, qualify opportunities, and manage a sales pipeline while developing relationships to uncover new business. Your role also involves prospecting at trade shows, expanding networks in key accounts, and collaborating on territory planning to meet sales objectives.

Zenopa have partnered with a company specializing in genomics and protein engineering research tools and services. They offer customizable products such as targeted next-generation sequencing kits, cell-free protein expression kits, and cytogenetics in situ hybridization probes. Their services include sequencing and bioinformatics, supporting applications across agrigenomics, environmental DNA, evolutionary biology, forensics, human health, and synthetic biology.
Role Requirements
Respond to inbound sales inquiries and qualify opportunities to build relationships and uncover additional business.
Maintain an active pipeline in the CRM, tracking activities, planning closures, and reporting during forecasting events.
Prospect for new business through trade shows, field travel, and online networking.
Expand network within key accounts and develop a territory plan in collaboration with the Sales Director to exceed sales goals.
Participate in training and process improvement initiatives while sharing best practices with colleagues.
Person Specifications
Life sciences degree.
Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office, Teams and other common software platforms.
Experience with NGS workflows.
Sales experience in the life sciences market.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
