Sales Specialist

We are looking for an energetic self-motivated salesperson to join our team and sell a growing portfolio of laboratory equipment for organic and inorganic chemistry laboratories.
Products include centrifuges, sample concentrators, rotary evaporators, gas generators and recirculating chillers.
The successful candidate will be home based with visits to Head Office for training, demonstrations and meetings throughout the year, and will be expected to perform face to face as well as virtual meetings.
Full product training and continuous training will be given to the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have to organise day to day running of their territory, building on an already impressive portfolio of clients, and expected to add new business monthly to their data base.
Duties include, contacting new and existing companies, arranging sales visits, generating quotations and organising demonstrations.
Candidates would have to be prepared to operate systems as they will perform demonstrations and may be called on to assist at installations of the units they sell. The area will be targeted and comes with a 6-month probation period which may be extended based on performance.
We would be interested in candidates with a Chemistry degree, ideally from an organic background, and individuals with a desire or experience to progress in sales. It would be preferable for the candidate to have hands on experience of the types of products being sold, and good knowledge of the laboratories that would require their use.
